How Plasma Fibroblast Treatments Work

The Plasma Fibroblast treatment is done at a distance of approximately 1mm above the surface of the skin creating a minuscule electrical plasma arc (although it is a needle it is not inserted into the skin at all). When the plasma arc touches the skin, it vaporises a micromillimeter-sized dot on the skin’s surface. This process is called sublimation. This enables the treatment imprint to be wider and shallow. This dot minimally tightens the skin in its vicinity. Several points applied together to create a “reduction grid”. Through the application of grids in specific patterns, excess skin is tightened as a result. The benefits of which are a greater tightening effect allowing for better results, a quicker healing process and less downtime.

As we age our dermal layer thins, less collagen is produced, elastin fibers wear out & these changes affect the structure of our skin causing it to wrinkle & sag and to lose texture & laxity.

Plasma treatments are used in combination with numbing cream if required. Treatments can take as little as between 20-30 minutes and there is minimal downtime. Small formations of scabs and slight swelling is to be expected. The Lycogel makeup is the only makeup you can wear after this treatment. With visible results after one treatment and a gradual improvement over a couple of weeks post-treatment, it’s very exciting to be able to offer the Plasma treatments.
